It has been six months since physical copies of Steamfunk were sent out to all our awesome (and good looking!) Kickstarter supporters. Since then we've had a surprising community grow through people picking up additional physical copies from The Button Mash, conventions, and the limited number made available in local comic shops. We wanted to address the many of you that showed interest, but were unable to grab a copy for yourself.

Steamfunk Issue #0 is now available as a 25 page DRM-Free .PDF from The Button Mash with a Pay-What-You-Want model. This comic was the first collaboration from Luke McKay and Eric Doty and we hope you enjoy it as much as we have.

Steamfunk is the first publication by Button Mash Productions inc. It's an all ages comic that includes a bit of steampunk, a pinch of diesel punk, western, and fantasy. Its biggest influences are The Wizard of Oz and Firefly. The "funk" in the title serves a dual purpose referring to the musical references throughout the story as well as the state of the world the characters exist in. The story will follow the adventures of a gutsy delivery girl, Deaux, as she unravels truths that she may not be prepared for.
